The high voltage Super 4 clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is slated to take place on 10th September at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. However, there is a rain predicted on the match day so ACC decided to keep 11th September as the reserve day.

India and Pakistan met in the Group clash played at Palleke International Stadium, Kandy on 2nd September 2023. The match did not take place as India scored 266 in 48.5 overs. Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan stitched 138 runs partnership for 5th wicket as Indian top order of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer were dismissed cheaply.

The Indian team will welcome the return of star pacer Jasprit Bumrah ahead of the Super 4 clash against Pakistan to be played on 10th September. There is a 90 percent chance of rain on 10th September.

India and Pakistan made it into the Super 4 stage by defeating Nepal. Pakistan thrashed Nepal by 238 runs in the opening encounter at Multan while India thrashed the debutants by 10 wickets to qualify for the Super 4 stage.

It promises to be an exciting encounter between two Asian powerhouses. The Asian Cricket Council President Jay Shah decided to keep the Super 4 matches in Colombo despite the rain threat as both India and Pakistan did want to travel to Hambantota.

India and Pakistan Promise to Be A Brilliant Clash

India will open their Asia Cup Super 4 stage with a mouthwatering clash against Pakistan. Babar Azam-led side is currently at the top of the points table as they thrashed Bangladesh in the opening encounter of the Super 4 stage at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The hosts Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will start the Sri Lankan leg tomorrow.

The audience must keep their tickets for the reserve if the match does not happen on 10th September. India and Pakistan will begin the match from where it left off.

It promises to be an exciting clash between India and Pakistan on 10th September. India would look to start their Super 4 stage with a win while Pakistan will qualify for finals if they defeat the Rohit Sharma-led side or the match gets washed out. The finals to be played on 17th September will also have a reserve if rain stops play.
