During Day 2 of the AUS vs PAK 2nd Test in 2023, a young couple found themselves in an intimate moment, drawing attention from everyone at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) as it was showcased on the stadium’s big screen.
The guy swiftly covered his face with a towel, and the girl turned away to avoid being identified when the camera focused on them during Day 2.
Unlike most cricket fans who get excited when they spot themselves on the big screens, a young couple had a different reaction during Day 2 of the Boxing Day Test between Australia and Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Fans at the MCG enjoyed a humorous moment when the camera zoomed in on a couple in the stands. The guy had a towel on his lap, and the girl was leaning on him, creating a funny scene when they appeared on the big screen.
They suddenly noticed themselves on the screen and were startled. The man swiftly covered his face with the towel, and the girl turned away to avoid being recognized.
The amusing incident occurred in the 7th over of Pakistan’s first innings on Wednesday. At that time, the visitors were behind the Australians by 302 runs, and Abdullah Shafique was at the crease, facing Mitchell Starc.

Australia has put Pakistan in a challenging situation
Returning to the game, Pakistan is in a difficult position as Australia has obtained a second-innings lead of 241 runs, reaching 187 for 6 by the end of Day 3. Mitchell Marsh fell short of a century once more, being dismissed for 96 by Shaheen Shah Afridi.
However, he played a vital role in a 153-run partnership with Steve Smith (50), rescuing Australia from a precarious situation after they were reduced to 16 for 4 by Afridi and Mir Hamza early in the second session. Both Afridi and Hamza secured three wickets each.
