[Watch] Darcie Brown Takes A Blinder To Dismiss Harmanpreet Kaur During First ODI

Australian cricketer Darcie Brown pulled off a stunner in the first ODI against India to dismiss Harmanpreet Kaur on Thursday, December 28 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Indian skipper walked back to the pavilion for just nine runs owing to the heroic effort in the field by Brown.

The incident took place in the thirteenth over of the Indian innings. Ashleigh Gardner bowled a tossed-up delivery to Harmanpreet Kaur, who tried to sweep the ball. However, she got a top edge and the ball went to the fielder at short fine leg. Darcie Brown who was positioned there, dived to her left to grab a stunning catch. Harmanpreet managed just nine runs from seventeen deliveries, including a boundary.

The ball managed to go through the gate and rattle the stumps. The right-arm pacer finished with bowling figures of 1/33 in seven overs, at an economy rate.
