After thrashing New Zealand in the first game of the series, host Bangladesh will look to continue their winning momentum when they face the visitors in the 2nd T20I on September 3 (Friday)at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka.
Bangladesh’s confidence found a boost after their first-ever win against New Zealand in the shortest format. The win was hard-earned as they bowled out the visitors for 60 runs – New Zealand’s joint-lowest total in men’s T20Is – within the 17th over and chased it down with five overs to spare.

New Zealand, on the other hand, ascertained that they misread the pitch and conditions which took the relatively inexperienced side by surprise as the game slid away from their hands before they even realised it. The Kiwis will want their spinners Cole McConchie and Ajaz Patel to come good and bowl economical spells.

It will be a rank turner at the Shere Bangla Stadium with spinners getting assistance from the word go. It will be another low-scoring encounter and the team that will counter spin better will emerge as the winner.
