As the BBL gets closer, all the teams are in a huddle to finalize the transfers and positions in team management. However, Brisbane Heat did something different this time.
The franchise has roped in former Australian cricketer Julia Price as an Assistant Coach. She will work alongside Darren Lehman this season.
She was formerly associated with Hobart Hurricanes squad in WBBL. This is the first instance where a woman cricketer has been handed the role of the coach for a mean”s team.
With the inclusion of Ab De Villiers, the side will be hoping to recreate the magic of 2012/13 season.
