Lewis Gregory stunned everyone after he bowled a strange delivery, to say the least during BBL 2020-21. The Brisbane Heat pacer was embarrassed after he bowled a massive wide delivery against Hobart Hurricanes. Gregory fell over when he was about the deliver the ball as his ball didn’t even land on the pitch. The all-rounder looked in absolute disbelief after he saw the ball being so wide and had a sheepish smile.
The commentators called it a remarkable delivery but the fans on Twitter made fun of it and tagged it as the worst ball of the year. The bizarre incident took place during the 17th over of the Hurricanes innings when Gregory was bowling to Tim David. After getting hit for a six on the previous ball, Gregory was probably trying to bowl a wide yorker.

However, Gregory got it all wrong as he found himself on the ground after bowling a ridiculous delivery. Even the umpire had a smirk on his face and was seen signalling to Gregory that his landing while delivery wasn’t perfect hence he bowled a poor ball. The keeper did a terrific job as he somehow managed to save the ball from going to the boundary.
