After a successful England tour, the BCCI have announced India A squads for the two four day matches against South Africa A and also the quadrangular series involving South Africa, Australia and India B. In the four-day match against South Africa A, the team will be led by Sheryas Iyer.

Prithvi Shaw, R Samarth, Mayank Agarwal, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Hanuma Vihari, Ankit Bawne, KS Bharat. Also included in the squad is India’s leg-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal.

Jayant Yadav, Rajneesh Gurbani, Navdeep Saini, Ankit Rajpoot and Mohammed Siraj have been included in the 16 member squad. Axar Patel has been included in the 1^st four-day match while Shahbaz Nadeem has been included in the 2^nd four-day match.

India A and South Africa A will play the first four-day match at Belgaum from 4^th August. The 2^nd four-day match starts from 10^th August at Bangalore.

Cricket South Africa name their ‘A’ squads to Tour India

Yuzvendra Chahal has been selected to test him in the longest format. From 1^st August 2018, India will take on England in 5 match test series. Karun Nair and Pant will not be a part of the squad as they have been included in the Indian senior team.

For the quadrangular series, India A will be captained by Sheryas Iyer. In this team, Prithvi Shaw, R Samarth, Surya Kumar Yadav, Hanuma Vihari, Nitish Rana, Siddesh Lad. Sanju Samson has been named as the wicketkeeper. Mayank Markande, K Gowtham, Krunal Pandya, Deepak Chahar, Mohammed Siraj, Shivam Mavi and Khaleel Ahmed have been included.

The series begins on 17^th August and finishes on 29^th. All the matches will be played at Vijayawada.
