BCCI Announces Squad For Women”s Asia Cup T20

The Indian women”s team have been rejoicing their victory against England at home and they are trying to rectify the things that went wrong in the T20 tri-series.

Meanwhile, BCCI has announced the squad for the Women”s Asia cup T20 tournament. This will be played at Malaysia from June 1 to 11.

Six countries are set to feature in it namely India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand and the host Malaysia.

All the teams will play against each other and the top two members from the points table will meet in the finals. Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the side and the 15 member squad has been announced for the same.

All eyes will be on Smriti Mandhana who had been at her best since the ICC women”s world cup 2017. It is to be noted that she has been recommended by BCCI for the Arjuna award a few days back.

The bowling lineup will be lead by Julian and the new recruit Pooja Vastrakar should be doing the needful to clinch the trophy.
