Ben Cutting Announced His Retirement From First-Class Cricket

All-rounder Ben cutting has announced retirement from FC and LA careers. He mentioned that he has taken this decision to concentrate on the shortest format of the game. In 51 first-class matches, he took 170 wickets at 28.41 and made 1,561 runs at 23.65.

Ben cutting was primarily responsible for clinching the 2016 IPL title for SRH with his all-around heroics and in the final against RCB.

The 31 year old has represented over 119 matches in his first class and List-A career and amassed over 2400 runs and picked 260+ wickets. He played for the Queensland Bulls and thanked the franchise for their faith in him over the past 12 years.

He had represented Australia in four ODI”s but failed to keep up his place in the squad due to the presence of star all-rounders like Glenn Maxwell and Stoinis. He was also one among the World XI squad that toured Pakistan in 2017 for three matches T20I series.
