Rajasthan Royals have made a good start in their run defence against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2020 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Ace fast bowler Jofra Archer gave a perfect start removing dangerous Hyderabad opener David Warner.

Defending 155 runs, Jofra Archer steamed in bowling 150+ kph deliveries. The Barbados-born fast bowler hurried Warner with pace before dismissing him with perfect beauty. They implemented a perfect plan setting a second slip which paid dividends.

Ben Stokes takes a perfect catch

It was raw pace from Jofra Archer and David Warner was sent packing. He hits the back of a length which moved away slightly just outside off. Warner doesn’t learn, gropes at it and feeds an outside edge. It travels to Ben Stokes’ left, who moves swiftly and pouches it. It was a brilliant effort from Stokes to complete the catch.

Earlier in the day, Ben Stokes opened alongside Robin Uthappa but never got going. He tried everything but he couldn’t hit the middle of the bat. Sunrisers Hyderabad meanwhile took pace off, bowled tight lines and put pressure on batsmen. Jason Holder ran Uthappa out, strangled Steve Smith and Riyan Parag with cutters to make it a sensational comeback into the side replacing the injured Kane Williamson.

Vijay Shankar was really good with his slower balls too, got the big wicket of Buttler. With Rashid squeezing the middle overs, RR found it really tough. However, a late surge from Jofra Arche helped Rajasthan Royals to finish on a high posting 154 runs on the board.
