Team India cricketers Arshdeep Singh and Umran Malik were recently seen enjoying some downtime in Bengaluru. While Arshdeep is participating in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2024-25, Umran is undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Arshdeep and Umran recently dined at a restaurant in Bengaluru’s UB City and posted pictures from their outing. The left-arm pacer from Punjab added a humorous caption to the photo.
“Bill kon pay kru🤔?” Arshdeep wrote.

Arshdeep Singh sported a stylish look in a white T-shirt and denim jeans, while Umran Malik opted for an all-black outfit during their night out. The post garnered over 1.5 lakh likes and was widely shared across social media.
Arshdeep Singh last played for Team India during the South Africa series last month. Punjab Kings (PBKS), who initially released him ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction, reacquired him using the RTM card for â‚ą18 crore.
Meanwhile, Umran Malik, released by SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) before the auction, went unsold in the early rounds. However, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) picked him up in the accelerated rounds for his base price of â‚ą75 lakh.
How have Arshdeep Singh and Umran Malik fared in their performances for India?
Once hailed as a generational talent for his blistering pace, Umran Malik from Jammu & Kashmir has seen his career stall due to injuries and inconsistency. Since his 2022 debut, the pacer has featured in 10 ODIs and eight T20Is, taking a total of 24 wickets.
In contrast, Arshdeep Singh has established himself as a key player for team India in T20Is. The left-arm pacer has played 60 matches, claiming 95 wickets at an average of 18.10. He currently ranks ninth in the ICC Men’s T20I Bowler Rankings.
