The world-renowned company BookMyShow has joined hands with Cricfit Academy for the inaugural edition of the Cricfit Premier League. The tournament will run from January 14 and until January 29th at the Thakur Village Cricket Stadium in Kandivali, East Mumbai.

Ever since BookMyShow was launched in August 2007, it has scaled new heights with each passing day and is currently the biggest online ticketing platform in the country. They have been the ticketing partners of many IPL sides including defending champions Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab, and Delhi Capitals (previously known as Delhi Daredevils).

Cricfit Premier League ropes in BookMyShow as registration partner

Teams interested to participate in the first season of Cricfit Premier League can directly go to BookMyShow and enroll their names. Speaking of the association, the BookMyShow spokesperson sounded elated to contribute to the development of grassroots cricket in India.

Meanwhile, speaking about the tournament, Cricfit Premier League will see cricketers from four different age groups – U-12, U-14, U-16, and U-19 (girls) ply their trade for the illustrious trophy. Meanwhile, the top two teams from each group of each age category will qualify for the knock-out stage.

The finals will be a 25-over game and will be played under the lights. All the matches of Cricfit Premier League will be live telecasted on social media platform – YouTube and Facebook which will be watched by cricket lovers from across the globe.

The aim of this tournament is to give the junior cricketers a platform to express themselves and give them a taste of league cricket in the country at a very early age.
