The Australian all-rounder Cameron Green was picked by the Mumbai Indians (MI) auction that took place at Kochi on 23 December. With Kieron Pollard announcing retirement, MI franchise decided to pick him at a whopping INR 17.25 Crore.

Mumbai Indians struggled badly in the 2022 IPL finishing last for the first time. Green could be an ideal replacement for Kieron Pollard with his hitting abilities and bowling on decent bowling pitches.
Green is currently playing in the Test series against South Africa. His batting could be utilized by Mumbai Indians during this year’s IPL and make sure that 5 time Champion shows their class. The all-rounder could struggle on low pitches like Delhi, Lucknow or few other pitches that has low bounce.
