“Can’t See It”-Suryakumar Yadav And Tilak Varma Playfully Exchange Banter On Instagram

Mumbai Indians (MI) teammates Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma recently had a playful exchange on Instagram. Tilak’s last appearance on the field for India was during the T20I series against Afghanistan at home last month.

He batted at No. 3 in the first T20I, scoring 26(22), but sat out the next two games as Virat Kohli returned to the playing XI and took his usual spot at one-down.

Suryakumar Yadav has been out of action since December of the previous year due to an ankle injury sustained while fielding in the second innings of the third and final T20I during the South Africa tour in Johannesburg.

Following surgery last month, the dynamic middle-order batsman is currently undergoing rehabilitation, with the goal of returning for IPL 2024. Tilak Varma posted a workout video on his Instagram, accompanied by a caption.

“Pushing my limits.”

Suryakumar Yadav playfully teased his Mumbai Indians teammate, crafting a witty and amusing comment on the post. His comment was both interesting and humorous.

“Can’t see it.”

Tilak promptly replied to Surya’s comment with his own response.

“You will see it soon.”

Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma are set to play for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024 under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya

In preparation for the upcoming season, Mumbai Indians (MI) introduced a substantial alteration by acquiring Hardik Pandya and designating him as Rohit Sharma’s successor. This decision was intriguing, considering the presence of seasoned players like Jasprit Bumrah and Suryakumar Yadav as potential captaincy options.

However, the management executed an all-money trade with Gujarat Titans in November to bring in Hardik Pandya and appoint him as the team’s captain. Here are the first four matches Mumbai Indians will play in IPL 2024:

March 24: Mumbai Indians vs Gujarat Titans  in Ahmedabad, 7:30 pm

March 27: Mumbai Indians vs SunRisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad, 7:30 pm

April 1: Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians  in Mumbai, 7:30 pm

April 7: Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians  in Mumbai, 3:30 pm
