Star Australia batsman Marnus Labuschagne has come up with a hilarious nickname to call his teammate and off-spinner Nathan Lyon in the ongoing Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Meanwhile, India have occupied the driver’s seat on day two of the Test match securing a valuable first-innings lead.
The Aussie cricketers are famously known from coming up with innovative nicknames for their teammates in the field over the years. The Australian wicket-keepers have tried to fire-up senior off-spinner Nathan Lyon using various nicknames. Garry” from Matthew Wade and “Gazza” from Tim Paine have been the most prominent in recent times. Some even call Lyon ‘GOAT’ to bring the best out of him.
