The Cricfit Premier League (CPL) has edged into the last stage of the tournament as the race for the finals has finally begun. In the Under-14 category, it was the Bhosale Cricket Academy that took on the Shivai Academy at the Thakur Cricket Stadium in Kandivali where Bhosale Cricket Academy snapped a place in the finals after defeating Shivai Academy by 30 runs.

It all started at the toss as Bhosale Cricket Academy won the toss and elected to bat first. Opening batter Aayush Patil led the charge from start to end as he played an unbeaten knock of 47 runs in small partnerships with Tanish Shetty and Laksh Shinde taking the score to 123/2 at the end of 20 overs.

Souresh Dheshpande’s 4-Fer Sets It Up For Bhosale Cricket Academy In CPL

In reply, it was the Bhosale Cricket Academy bowlers who rattled through the Shivai Academy batting line up as they were restricted on 93 at the end of 20 overs. Anas Khan and Hemant Gowda’s contributions with the bat weren’t enough as Bhosale Cricket Academy beat Shivai Academy by 30 runs to seal a place in the finals.

Souresh Dheshpande was the pick of the bowlers from Bhosale Cricket Academy as he picked up 3 wickets in his 4 over spell. Bhosale Cricket Academy will now face Cricfit Academy in the finals of the Under-14 category.
