Swami Vivekananda International register a convincing win in CPL 2021
Swami Vivekananda pressed hard after tasting the first blood bowling the right areas giving no opportunity for the batters to get away. Although Evyaan and Ram added 49 runs for the second wicket, they took 84 deliveries and Cricfit Academy never managed to free the gears. The bowlers collectively bowled well setting up a target of only 75 runs.
It was a cakewalk for the Swami Vivekananda International School U-12 side during the run chase. Openers – Arjun Lolitkar and Hrishikesh Naik added 51 runs for the first wicket in just 7.5 overs to set the tone. Arjun, in particular, was the attacker of the two finding the boundaries with ease giving Cricfit Academy no chase to bounce back in the game.
Although Evyaan managed to get the better of Hrishikesh but it was too late to bounce back in the game from there. Arjun remained unbeaten on 35 runs from 27 deliveries with the help of seven boundaries to take his side home without any further hiccups.
This victory will give Swami Vivekananda International School a massive boost going further in CPL 2021.
