CPL 2023: [WATCH] Fabian Allen’s Sensational Catch To Dismiss Kieron Pollard Grabs The Eyeballs

The Jamaica Tallawahs all-rounder Fabian Allen’s outstanding effort on the field was one of the highlights of Match 24 of the Caribbean Premier League against the Trinbago Knight Riders on Saturday, September 9 at the Brian Lara Stadium in Taruoba, Trinidad. His one-handed stunning catch left Keiron Pollard stunned.

The incident took place during the fifteenth over of Trinbago Knight Rider’s chase. Imad Wasim bowled a slightly short delivery to Kieron Pollard, who heaved it over mid-wicket. Fabian Allen who was in the deep ran in and dived forward as the ball dipped in on him. He pulled off a  tremendous one-handed catch to dismiss the Trinbago Knight Riders skipper Kieron Pollard, who seemed disappointed. Pollard walked back to the hut for just six runs from seven deliveries.

As much as I enjoyed it, it’s tough: Sunil Narine on his batting performance against Jamaica Tallawahs

Trinbago Knight Riders bowler Sunil Narine won the Player of the Match award against the Jamaica Tallawahs in Match 22 of the Caribbean Premier League. He took two wickets conceding 29 runs in four overs in the first innings. He also played a fantastic cameo at the top of the order while chasing. Narine smashed two boundaries and a six, scoring 15 runs off 6 deliveries.

Talking about his cameo, Sunil Narine said at the post-match presentation, “As much as I enjoyed it, it’s tough. You have to go out there, enjoy and try to contribute to the team.”

“It had less dew bowling first. The score we restricted them to was great. I want to commend the bowlers. The batsmen went out and did a good job,” he added.
