Maxwell played a pivotal role in his side’s series win against England and India this year. Maxwell was a gamechanger batting at 6 for Australia as he contributed not only with the bat but also with the ball. In 6 ODI matches, he scored 353 runs at an average of 70.60 and strike rate of 145.27which made him one of the first picks in the ODI team of the year.
