Ruturaj Gaikwad, a player for the Chennai Super Kings and India, wed his longtime girlfriend Utkarsha Pawar on Saturday.
Gaikwad, who had an outstanding Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season for Chennai Super Kings, was crucial to the team’s fifth championship.
The young opener was expected to join the Indian squad as a backup for the World Test Championship final following the end of the season. However, he canceled the five-day event to get married.

Utakarsha is a Maharashtrian cricket player, just like Gaikwad. She was most recently seen standing by Ruturaj’s side during CSK’s championship celebrations in Ahmedabad after the team defeated Gujarat Titans to win the IPL title for a record-tying fifth time.
CSK players like Shivam Dube and Prashant Solanki were among those who attended Gaikwad’s wedding.
