Since the IPL’s opening day, MS Dhoni has served as the team’s spokesperson for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). In order to secure Dhoni, CSK made the auction’s highest bid at the time in 2008.

2010 saw CSK win their first championship, as was previously mentioned. They did not, however, have the easiest time getting to the trophy.
