Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batter Ruturaj Gaikwad shared a snapshot from a gym workout alongside his wife, Utkarsha Pawar, during the ongoing five-match T20I series between India and New Zealand, with the Men in Blue hosting the Kiwis.
The image featured the CSK star posing with Utkarsha inside a gym, with workout equipment visible in the background. Ruturaj sported a green full-sleeve t-shirt paired with black athletic shorts accented by blue stripes, along with white crew socks.
Utkarsha opted for a white gym top and blue high-waisted leggings, holding a pair of shoes and a blue water bottle. Gaikwad tagged his wife in the post and added the caption:
“No rest days when she’s around.”
Ruturaj Gaikwad is currently representing Maharashtra in the Ranji Trophy 2025–26. He has been in fine domestic form, scoring 413 runs in seven matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, including two centuries and a fifty.
He featured in the home ODI series against South Africa but was dropped for the New Zealand ODIs and has not played a T20I since 2024.

Ruturaj Gaikwad is set to resume captaincy duties for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2026. He featured in only five matches last season before an injury ruled him out for the remainder of the tournament. Despite MS Dhoni stepping in as captain, the five-time champions endured a disappointing campaign.
CSK finished last on the points table, managing just four wins from 14 matches. Gaikwad will be eager to guide the team’s resurgence as they look to bounce back strongly in the upcoming season. The franchise will head into IPL 2026 with a restructured squad filled with young and emerging talent.
Across 71 matches for CSK, Ruturaj has accumulated 2,502 runs at an average of 40.35 and a strike rate of 137.47, including two centuries and 20 fifties.
