CSK’s Tushar Deshpande Mocks RCB On Instagram After IPL 2024 Eliminator Loss, Quickly Deletes Post

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bowler Tushar Deshpande posted a trolling Instagram story about Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) after they lost to Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2024 Eliminator match in Ahmedabad. However, Deshpande quickly deleted the story, but fans had already taken screenshots.

RCB had previously knocked out the defending champions, CSK, in a surprising win at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. This victory had left CSK fans upset, and they had been holding a grudge against RCB and their supporters. So, when RCB’s campaign ended on Wednesday, Deshpande joined many other fans in mocking them on social media.

Faf du Plessis Reflects on RCB’s Shortfall and Commends Team’s Resilience

“Did think we were 20 runs shy of what was a good score” – Faf du Plessis said.At the post-match presentation, RCB captain Faf du Plessis acknowledged that their score fell short of what was needed and noted that several factors favor the chasing teams. Despite this, the experienced player expressed pride in RCB’s strong fight, especially considering the tough situation they were in.

“With the dew coming, we felt we were short with the bat. Did think we were 20 runs shy of what was a good score. Credit to the boys – they fought really well. That’s all you can ask for. If you look at naturally assessing the pitch and conditions, you would say it’s a 180 pitch because it was swinging upfront and was quite slow.”

“But what we’ve found out this season, with the impact player, the par score isn’t enough any more. Also with the dew coming in. To come back like that, six games in a row, takes a lot of heart and character. We weren’t special tonight in terms of pushing that extra 20 runs with the bat.”
