Proteas Legendary pace bowler Dale Steyn has indulged in an argument with a fan on Twitter. The pacer couldn’t help but call the fan Mr.Ugly for asking Steyn to have a haircut. It all happened when Steyn was conversing with his followers during a question/answer session.
Steyn is currently in the Sri Lankan Island plying his trade in the ongoing Lanka Premier League for the Kandy Tuskers franchise owned by Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The fast bowler wasn’t supposed to be a part of the T20 league but was drafted as a result of Pakistani pacer Sohail Tanvir testing positive for the COVID-19.
Dale Steyn Engages In Ugly War Of Words During Twitter Q&A
After retiring from the longest format of the game, Dale Steyn had expressed his wish to withstand his career by playing the shorter formats of the game. As a result, we’re now witnessing Dale Steyn participate in numerous T20 leagues around the World. The former number one bowler is highly active on social media especially on the Twitter platform where he is always seen engaging with his fans via question and answer sessions.
As Steyn is currently part of the 14 day quarantine period in Sri Lanka, he thought of laying off some time by a quick question and answer wherein the incident took place. During which one of his fans asked him to get a haircut since according to him it did not suit the fast bowler from South Africa. This triggered Steyn and rather asked the fan to worry about his own appearance whilst he worries about his own. In Steyn finished the tweet by calling the fan ‘Mr. ugly mustache’.
