Danielle Wyatt scores a swashbuckling century in KIA Super League

Danielle Wyatt once again proved her brilliance with the bat as she smashed a quickfire 110 against Surrey Stars in the KIA Super League. Her knock came off just 60 balls which comprised 9 boundaries and 7 sixes. The knock helped her side Southern Vipers to come out on the top by 89 runs.

The KIA Super League is currently played between six teams in the United Kingdom. Western Storm leads the table with six out of six wins whereas Vipers are ranked second.

Indian players Smriti Mandhana(235 runs) and Harmanpreet Kaur (210 runs) currently occupy the top two positions in batting charts, while Wyatt ranks third(205 runs).

The tournament ends on September 3 with the final to be played at Hove. A lot of international players are currently playing the tournament and its slightly gaining public attention.

A hundred after a bad outing for Wyatt

Danielle Wyatt had a bad time in the Women”s Ashes as they were completely outplayed by Australians. However, the side had a smile during the last T20I where England own by 17 runs.

This century would mean a lot for her and the team and we will have to wait and see if she would take her side to lift the title.
