There is no denying to the fact that Indian players and the Australian players have dominated the Indian Premier League over the years. They entertained fans with their competitive spirit and has been on the top of the IPL charts for years now. Meanwhile, in an interesting interview with Harsha Bhogle at Cricbuzz, David Warner picked his Combined IPL XI of India-Australia.
Rohit Sharma to open with David Warner:
He named himself as the opener of the team alongside Mumbai Indians’ captain Rohit Sharma. The duo has been frequent run-scorers for their respective teams and carries all the burden on their shoulders. Following them, David Warner named Virat Kohli at number 3.
Virat Kohli has got the most number of runs in IPL history. At number 4, he chose leading run-scorer of Chennai Super Kings Suresh Raina while Hardik Pandya of Mumbai Indians is named at number 5. At the drop of a hat, he named MS Dhoni of CSK as the wicket-keeper of the team.
Joining Hardik Pandya, David Warner named Glenn Maxwell as the second all-rounder of the team. He has been exceptional in the tournament over the years for Kings XI Punjab before making a move to Delhi. He was once again signed by Punjab for IPL 2020.

Coming to the fast bowling department, he named Mitchell Starc, who had a terrific season for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He is combined by Jasprit Bumrah of Mumbai Indians and Ashish Nehra of Chennai Super Kings, who called curtains on his career.
For the spinner role, he named Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav, as he doesn’t mind any of them in his side. All in all, the squad looks brilliant to tackle any kind of opposition. Surprisingly, David Warner left out Shane Watson and Chris Lynn, who did well for their respective franchises.
