Watch- Dawid Malan’s Six Lands In A Beer Cup, Fan Hilariously Refuses To Give The Ball Back

Dawid Malan is in the form of his life in T20 cricket. The left-handed batsman is currently the no. ICC T20I batsman in the world. Now Malan his showing his exploits in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) in Australia. The Englishmen is representing the Hobart Hurricanes and has already played some valuable knocks.

Yesterday against the strong Melbourne Stars side, Malan played a brilliant knock off 75 runs from 56 balls. Initially, Malan took his time but once he got settled he unleashed his wide array of big strokes. The elegant Southpaw smashed the Stars bowlers to all corners of the ground much to the delight of the home fans.

The highlight of the match was undoubtedly when one of Malan’s six ended up being in a beer cup of a spectator sitting over the deep square leg fence. When Malan struck the ball the fans hurried to catch the ball but in the end, the ball was caught by an old man’s beer glass. The scenes were hilarious as everyone was surprised seeing the ball in a glass full of beer.

Meanwhile, the fan who was enjoying the beer decided to savour his drink by having it with the ball inside it. The players and commentators and the entire crowd were in splits as it was truly freakish. The player at the boundary was confused about whether or not to ask the fan to give the ball from his drink due to the COVID-19 scare.

There was a little half in play as the fan was acknowledging the cheers of people around him at the ground. After his celebrations were over he finally decided to return the ball and the game moved forward. However, by that point, the on-field umpires had already decided to change the ball and gave a new ball to the fielding side.
