The versatile actor Deepika Padukone, who made her debut back in 2007 with Om Shanti Om has had a good rapport with the cricketers. Reports suggested that she had relationships with former India captain MS Dhoni and all-rounder Yuvraj Singh.

The actress was also spotted at the stadium many times supporting Royal Challengers Bangalore when there was a rumour that she was dating the Siddarth Mallya. Meanwhile, the talented Deepika Padukone recently revealed that her favourite cricketer was no one from the rumoured relationships.

She admitted that previously she liked the master blaster; Sachin Tendulkar a lot but going with the younger generation where she belongs to she has high hopes on the current Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

“Sachin is iconic, but I think among the younger lot, Virat Kohli is extremely talented. I just hope he doesn’t lose focus, and if he continues playing the way he does, he has a great future,” Deepika admitted in a candid chat.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has tasted success ever since he made his debut. He is arguably the best batsman across all format in modern-day cricket. Moreover, Kohli is also the only cricketer in the business to average over 50 in all formats.

While he has been the synonym of consistency, the current India skipper has had a woeful 2020. Virat Kohli struggled in the series against New Zealand as India went down in the ODI and Test series. The talismanic run-scorer will be desperate to resume duties when cricket resumes after COVID-19 pandemic.
