Nortje after that was away from the bio-bubble of the DC squad but now it is reported that those reports were incorrect.

In a bizarre revelation, Delhi Capitals has confirmed Anrich Nortje has joined the team bio-bubble after a false-positive result for COVID-19. Nortje cleared three COVID-19 tests and was tested negative which is why he is now along with the rest of the Delhi Capitals team members inside their bio-bubble.

“He’s here, our pace superstar is now out of quarantine. After a false-positive result for COVID-19, Anrich Nortje tested negative thrice and is now part of our team bubble. We can’t wait to see him in action”, Delhi Capitals wrote on Twitter.

The addition of Nortje ahead of the next match of DC will certainly make their side stronger as he played a critical role last season when they played their first-ever IPL final. Even in the recent ODI series against Pakistan, Nortje bowled with great pace and looked in great bowling rhythm.

Last night DC certainly missed Norje in the death overs against Rajasthan Royals as they failed to contain the runs and lost in the last over.

Meanwhile, Nortje is now likely to play against Punjab Kings on Sunday in place of Tom Curran. The Rishabh Pant led side will be looking to get back to winning ways with the inclusion of Nortje against PBKS on Sunday.
