The right-handed wicketkeeping-batsman Dinesh Karthik is one of the few players to ply trade with the most number of franchises in the history of IPL. On Wednesday, Karthik compiled a list of players for his all-time Indian Premier League (IPL) XI, although the condition was that he can only pick the players he has played with.
Surprisingly, he left out quite a few top-class players and put himself in the team as the wicket-keeper. He asked the successful duo Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir to open the innings for his side. He had the connection of playing with them in 2008 when Delhi franchise roped them.

For Number 3 position, the flamboyant batsman picked the current skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma of Mumbai Indians at number 4. He put himself at number five position and also take the role of wicket-keeper.
For all-rounder’s slot, he chose the top-rated players of Kolkata Knight Riders Andre Russell and Sunil Narine to take number 6 and 7 roles. He named two Australians and one Indian in his fast bowling setup and a leg spinner to join Sunil Narine.
The two Australians are Glenn McGrath and Mitchell Starc, who played with him during his stay with Delhi and Bangalore franchises. The other Indian fast bowler is Jasprit Bumrah of Mumbai Indians while the leg-spinner is Yuzvendra Chahal of Bangalore.
