The whole world has come together to fight the pandemic coronavirus which has taken lives of more than 18000 people across the globe. The citizens are asked to quarantine themselves in a bid to curb the spread of the deadly virus.

There have been over 420000 positive cases recorded across the globe with China, Italy, Spain, and the United States the most affected. Talking about India, there are 562 cases so far with a death toll of 11. The situation is getting out of control with each passing forcing the Government of India to enforce lockdown in the country until April 15.

The COVID-19 has forced many global events to close including many events in India. While many events called off or postponed, the cricketers are getting a lot of time to introspect and spend a lot of time with themselves.

Meanwhile, with a lot of time by their side, ICC tweeted a gif of different male and female cricketers in which their pictures appear on loop. Viewers have to click on the gif once and the cricketer who appears on the screen is their quarantine partner.

English cricketer Danielle Wyatt took up the challenge and picked West Indies legend Chris Gayle as her quarantine partner. She posted the result on social media platforms along with a message for the dynamic cricketer who is known for his flamboyant character.

“Don’t forget the toilet roll and some rum,” Wyatt wrote.

Following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic all the cricketing contests have been suspended. The International Cricket Council (ICC) officials are likely to meet on a conference call on March 29 to decide on the future of the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 and the ongoing ICC World Test Championship.
