“Don’t let your suffering break you” – Rishabh Pant Shares An Inspiring Message

Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant shared an uplifting message on the occasion of Diwali, emphasizing the festival’s significance in celebrating the victory of good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.

Through an Instagram story, Pant expressed:

“Don’t let your suffering break you, no matter how hard it gets, life goes on.”

It’s great to hear that Rishabh Pant has joined the Delhi Capitals camp in Kolkata, under the guidance of Sourav Ganguly. Wishing them a successful IPL season!

The 26-year-old spent three days focusing on team-building strategies for the upcoming IPL 2024 auction in Dubai on December 19. Despite being a left-handed batter, he didn’t engage in any practice sessions during this visit.

Pant had a serious car accident that put his life at risk. After being treated in various hospitals, he went through a long recovery at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t play in important events like the ICC WTC 2023 final, IPL 2023, the 2023 Asia Cup, and the 2023 World Cup.

“By January (2024), he’ll be better” – Sourav Ganguly thoughts on Rishabh Pant’s fitness

Sourav Ganguly stated that Rishabh Pant will begin practicing in January 2024. Therefore, Pant’s participation in the upcoming 2023 Vijay Hazare Trophy, scheduled from November 23 to December 5, is uncertain.

Ganguly told PTI:

“Rishabh won’t be practicing here though. There’s still time for him to get down to practice. By January (2024), he’ll get even better.”

He added:

“We were talking about the team. He is the captain, so he put in his views regarding the upcoming auction. That’s the reason he has come here, to finalize certain aspects related to the team.”

Rishabh Pant played his last match for India in December 2022 against Bangladesh. He’s likely to make a comeback by playing in the Ranji Trophy.

Pant is expected to be in the team for India’s five-match Test series against England at home, starting with the first Test on January 25-29 in Hyderabad.

The England tour of India 2024:

January 25-29: First Test at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

February 2-6: Second Test at ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

February 15-19: Third Test at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.

February 23-27: Fourth Test at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.

March 7-11: Fifth Test at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
