A Twitter user was quick to spot it and put out a tweet of the same. The match situation could very well have made Shastri decide to rest for a while. The Indian bowlers have found it difficult to dismiss Root who has played a tremendous innings reaching his 22nd Test ton, In the process, he also surpassed 9000 Test runs.Ā
