Team India went against team England at iconic Lord’s venue for the second Test of 5-match Test series. India was led by no.5 ranked Test batsman Virat Kohli and England was led by no.4 ranked Test batsman in the ICC rankings Joe Root. Fans witnessed a nail-biting encounter between teams. Virat Kohli’s toss losing saga continued and he was invited by Joe Root and co. to bat first. Meanwhile, in the end after lots of ups and downs India was able to clinch a victory in the match by 151 runs.
Also surprisingly there was not lots of interruption by rain during the match. It was just mind-blowing, Root utilized every bit of the help from the surface and scored a marvelous unbeaten 180 in the first innings.
