He picked a total of 9 wickets in the match. Bumrah picked a 4 wicket haul in the first innings and a 5-wicket haul in the second innings.

Talking about his performance at Lord’s, Bumrah went wicketless in the first innings. However, he scored crucial 34* runs on Day 5 in India’s second innings. Notably, Joe Root scored a brilliant half-century in the first innings and an amazing century in the second innings at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Meanwhile, Root has already amassed over 1000 Test runs in 2021. Also, he has been the one-man army in the English Tets batting unit.
