England cricket board has announced the squad for the limited overs against the Scotland and Australia which are scheduled next month. Skipper Eoin Morgan has been named in both the squads despite being ruled out of the World XI squad due to a finger injury.
Moeen Ali and Plunkett return to the squad and this will surely add strength to the English team. It is to be noted that England defeated Australia 4-1 at their home turf in January.
Earlier this month, they clinched the top spot in the ICC ODIÂ rankings. This effort was really appreciated by the cricketing experts as the squad undergone several renovations since their failure at the 2015 world cup.

Jos Buttler has been rested for Scotland ODI to ensure better preparation for the Australian series. The entire focus will be on all-rounder Ben Stokes who hasn”t been at his “brutal best” for a long time since his “awful” incidents off the field.
The pace department heavily relies on Mark wood, Willey and Woakes who had a lean patch in the Indian Premier League. The 14 man squad for both the series have been announced this evening and it will be really interesting how the new look Australian team sans Smith and Warner will be able to adapt the overseas conditions.
Tim Paine was made the skipper a month ago and this series will be the first assignment for him as well as Justin Langer who took up the coaching role.
Both the teams will be looking forward to using this tournament as a trail for the world cup 2019.
The only ODI against Scotland will be played on June 10th, while the five-match ODI series will be played from June 13th.
