The destructive England batting line-up is gearing up for the first T20I against India. The number 1 ranked T20I side England will play India in a 5 matches T20I series that begins tomorrow at Ahmedabad. So far it has been an even contest between India and England in T20Is as both sides have won 7 matches each.
However now England on paper look as strong as India and are even tagged as favourites for the T20I series. The prominent reason for England’s success in white-ball cricket is their gun batting line-up. In the last few years, England has completely transformed their white-ball batting as they now only focus to hit the ball out of the ground.
England Batsmen Showcase Their Firepower Ahead Of 1st T20I
The current England T20I side bat till number 11 as even a Jofra Archer is known for hitting gigantic sixes. Ahead of the first T20I against team India, Eoin Morgan and his men practised hitting long sixes in their nets under lights at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
England batsmen were seen taking throwdowns as they deposited every single delivery out of the ground. The likes of captain Eoin Morgan, opener Jason Roy, Johnny Bairstow, Sam Billings and Jofra Archer all had fun as they exhibited pure ball striking.
The official Twitter account of England cricket posted the video which had all the fans excited to see them batting in the T20I series. Morgan & co. made six-hitting look ridiculously easy as they just timed the ball and it pinged off their bats deep in the stands. The focus of all England batsmen was to keep their shape and focus on hitting the ball through the line down the ground.

Meanwhile, the Indian bowling will certainly be tested against the explosive England batting. They have a formidable top six who will tee off from ball one in every T20 international. Jos Buttler, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, Eoin Morgan can all single-handedly win a T20 match on their own through their blistering batting.
