Virat Kohli led India defeated mighty England by a huge margin of 151 runs at the home of cricket Lord’s cricket ground London to take the 1-0 lead in the series. Now the teams will be heading into the third encounter at Headingley, Leeds on 25th August. It will be interesting to see can England make a comeback to level the series or India will once again dominate.
The Indian team found several positives in the Lord’s Test against England. As most of the players performed well at least in one inning. Especially Indian pace battery which consists of Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and Jasprit Bumrah looked in great form. On the batting side of things, Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are looking sensationally good.

Meanwhile, Team England’s biggest positive from Lord’s Test was the form of their skipper Joe Root. Joe Root is having a highly impressive run with the bat and he is carrying the English batting unit on his back. Meanwhile, England has made few changes in the squad heading into the third Test.
As Zak Crawley and Dom Sibley have been dropped and Dawid Malan has been called up. Also pacer Saqib Mahmood is likely to make his debut in the third Test after Mark Wood was ruled out.
