Catching has been of high standards in the ongoing edition of IPL in the UAE. Every match we have seen fielders taking some blinders. Faf du Plessis, who has one of the safest hands in the tournament, took another incredible catch at the long-off region to dismiss Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli.

Opting to bat first, Royal Challengers Bangalore have posted a decent total, given the pitch conditions. It was another failure for Aaron Finch, and Devdutt Paddikal threw away his wicket after getting a start too. The spinners were quite impressive in the middle overs as they didn’t let AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli take them on.

The pair did get those odd boundaries, but the foundation of their partnership was based on singles and twos. However, it wasn’t a finish RCB would have wished for. They lost four wickets in the final 3 overs, with only 20 runs scored. Deepak Chahar first removed de Villiers before Sam Curran dismissed Moeen Ali and Virat Kohli in the same to over to half the run-scoring spree.

Another superb taken by Faf du Plessis at long-off. It was a slower delivery by Sam Curran and Virat Kohli mistimed it completely as it lobbed straight. Taken at long-off by one of the best fielders in the business. Du Plessis came charging in and took a brilliant diving catch to dismiss RCB skipper.

Virat Kohli departs immediately after reaching his fifty as CSK managed to arrest the free flow of runs.
