On a recent episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, cricketers Mohammad Kaif and Virender Sehwag featured as guests. On the show, host Kapil Sharma pulled out past social media posts of the former cricketers and showed them the fan reactions. It’s a new element on Kapil Sharma’s show in which he shows older images of celebrities and then reads out some hilarious comments about them for the enjoyment of viewers.
In a photo posted by Kaif in 2018, he is seen on a plane with actress Aishwarya Rai. He captioned the photo, “Delightful conversation with a wonderful person.” Kapil showed him a fan’s witty comment on that post. It said: “Aishwarya ji dhyaan rakhna… yeh fielding mein kuch zyada hi acche hai (Aishwarya be careful, he’s too good at fielding)”. After reading that comment, Mohammad Kaif got embarrassed and couldn’t stop laughing.

After that, the host of the show, Kapil said, “Bahar fielding karne ka time kab mil jaata hai aapko? Aap fielder bade achche hai, main isliye pooch raha hoon (When do you get the time to do fielding outside? I am asking you because you are a great fielder).”
I am the Nawab of Najafgarh,Do you think I will do home chores? -Virender Sehwag
Kapil Sharma also revealed that Virender Sehwag’s fellow opener Sachin Tendulkar used to offer him bananas to keep him quiet for a while. Kapil asked Sehwag If he had to offer someone bananas, whom would he give it to. Sehwag took a banana from the table in front of him and handed it to Kapil without saying anything. However, he took it back and explained that if Kapil began eating bananas, the program would cease to exist, as it is only possible because of him.
During his conversation with Sehwag and Kaif, Kapil also questioned if Sehwag assisted his wife with home tasks during the lockdown. Sehwag joked that as the “Nawab of Najafgarh”, he didn’t have to do any housework. Following his remark, the audience erupted in laughter.
“Yaar, main Nawab of Najafgarh hoon. Main kaam karunga (I am the Nawab of Najafgarh. Do you think I will do chores)?”, said the former India opener. The former cricketers will grace the sets, ensuring a night of laughter riots on Sony TV this weekend.
