Farokh Engineer responds to Virat Kohli’s depression story
Now, Farokh Engineer has asked Kohli that how can he be depressed when he has a supporting life partner such as Anushka Sharma. Talking about Depression, Farokh Engineer stated that Indians have more mental strength as compared to the western world.
“How can you (Virat Kohli) be depressed when you have such a lovely wife? “He’s got a child. He’s got every reason to be thankful to God”, Engineer told Sportskeeda in a live session on Facebook.
“Depression is more in the western world. They talk about it more. But the mind is such a thing that you can never know. Mind is a dreadful thing. We (Indians) have greater strength to fight the demons in our body. We have our ups and downs. But we have got the mental strength to fight. And fight harder and play better, which maybe people like (Marcus) Trescothick and others don’t have”, the former cricketer added.
