Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli once again bagged a golden duck against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the ongoing IPL 2022. This is Kohli’s third first-ball duck in this edition of the tournament and second against Hyderabad.
Opting to bat first, Faf du Plessis came out to bat alongside Kohli. Virat Kohli got out on the very first ball on the bowling of Jagdeeshan Suchith. It was a nothing delivery from the left-arm pacer that pitched on the leg-stump and Kohli tried to flick it.
The ball gripped on the wicket went straight to Kane Williamson, the Sunrisers Hyderabad captain, positioned in mid-wicket. Kohli does a facepalm on his way back as his miserable run with the bat continues.
Meanwhile, the fans were certainly disappointed with another batting failure of Virat Kohli who went back disappointing and his fans were also left shell shocked after this dismissal.
Here are some reactions:
Giving more chances to Virat Kohli will be unfair to other talented players.. Even iam also a virat kohli faan 🙏

Virat Kohli needs to address the elephant in the room with a sense of urgency.
Just take a break, rejuvenate, come back. Nothing wrong in taking a holiday. Every professional needs one.
He needs a hand on the shoulder and right now, that responsibility lies with RCB.

Meanwhile, Kohli’s rough patch has continued from international cricket to the IPL. He has managed only 216 runs in 11 matches in the 15th edition of the cash-rich league at an average of 21.60, including one fifty.
Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar give RCB a steady start
Despite losing Virat Kohli on the first ball, the Bangalore franchise continued to play the aggressive game. Du Plessis and Patidar took some time to hit the highway and once they got the timing right, runs came flowing easily.
Apart from a dropped catch, there was nothing much to talk about Hyderabad’s bowling as they were taken to the cleaners. At the time of writing, RCB were well-placed at 102/1 in just 11.4 with Faf du Plessis batting at 51 while Rajat Patidar was approaching the landmark.
