Fixtures Announced For India’s Home Season Of 2023-24

The Board Cricket Council of India announced the home fixtures for the year 2023-24. Before the World Cup 2023, the Indian team will take on Australia in 3 match ODI series.

After the ODI series against Australia, all 10 teams will take part in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 to be played in India. India will then take on Australia in five-match T20I series keeping in mind of T20 World Cup to be played in the West Indies and the USA next year.

India will then host Afghanistan for the historic 3-match T20I series from 11th January 2024. After the T20I series, India would face their stern test during 5 match Test series starting from 25th January 2024. All these matches are a part of the 2023-25 World Test Championship cycle.

It promises to be an exciting season for the Indian Cricket Team. The biggest test for the Indian team would be facing England’s side in 5 match Test series. Apart from this, they would look to play their final XI against the Australian team before the World Cup 2023 which will be dress rehearsal for both teams.

Here are the schedule and venues of India’s 2023-24 home season.

India vs Australia ODI series

1. Ind vs Aus (22nd September 2023)- 1.30 PM IST, PCA Stadium, Mohali
2. Ind vs Aus (24th September 2023)- 1.30 PM IST, Holkar Stadium, Indore
3. Ind vs Aus(27th September 2023)- 1.30 PM IST, SCA Stadium, Rajkot.

India vs Australia T20I series

1. Ind vs Aus (23rd November 2023- 7.00 PM, ACA VDCA Stadium, Vizag
2. Ind vs Aus (26th November 2023)- 7.00 PM, Greenfield Stadium, Trivandrum.
3. Ind vs Aus (28th November 2023)- 7.00 PM, Basapara Stadium, Guwahati.
4. Ind vs Aus (1st December 2023)- 7.00 PM, Jamtha, Nagpur
5. Ind vs Aus (3rd December 2023)- 7.00 PM, Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad

India vs Afghanistan T20I series

1. Ind vs Afg (PCA Stadium, Mohali)- 11th January 2024
2. Ind vs Afg (Holkar Stadium, Indore)- 14th January 2024
3. Ind vs Afg (M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru)- 17th January 2024

India vs England Test series

1. Ind vs Eng (Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad)- 25th -29th January 2024
2. Ind vs Eng (ACA VDCA Stadium, Vizag)- 2nd-6th February 2024
3. Ind vs Eng (SCA Stadium, Rajkot)- 15th-19th February 2024
4. Ind vs Eng (JSCA Stadium, Ranchi)- 23rd-27th February 2024
5. Ind vs Eng (HPCA Stadium, Dharmshala)- 7th-11th March 2024.
