Naming his greatest all-time ODI XI, his opening combination included the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma. While Sachin has been one of the most included members in the all-time greatest squads of many legends, Bishop didn”t have any hesitation in naming Rohit who is equally destructive in the midterm day game. He also included Virat Kohli, Viv Richards and AB De Villiers to support them thus forming a tough top order.

It is to be noted that all the above members have several records against their names and it certainly makes the squad look so “Royal”. Finishers in the form of Lance Klusener and MS Dhoni added further essence to this squad. Both of them have redefined the term “finishing” in the past two decades and Bishop believed that their inclusion makes it complete.

With Glenn McGrath and Wasim Akram leading the pace department, he also added Joel Garner known as one of the most lethal bowlers of his times to the squad. However, the squad comprised of only one spinner in the form of Saqlain Mushtaq.

In short, all the members of his squad have several records to their name and it is one of the most unique qualities of such a tough and top-notch playing XI.
