The novel coronavirus is turning out to be more fatal with each passing day. It has halted the daily routine of the humans with the authorities asking them to remain indoors to contain the virus from spreading. Meanwhile, with the growing number of patients in the country, former India cricketer and BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has come in support of them.

The pandemic, as declared by the World Health Organisation, has resulted in cancelling of many global events. The future of the Olympic looks in jeopardy while the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) already postponing the forthcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) until April 15. New reports suggest that it might get delayed further as the situation gets worse with each passing day.

Former India opener Gautam Gambhir has also offered Rs 50 lakh from his Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLAD) fund for equipment needed for the treatment of the people suffering from Coronavirus.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal, Gambhir requested him to let the officers in charge tell him about the requirements.
