Harmanpreet Kaur disclosed that the pro cricketer Sachin Tendulkar had a call with her prior to India’s crucial Women’s World Cup final against South Africa. India won their first-ever ICC title on Sunday, November 2, beating the South Africans by 52 runs in front of a sold-out audience at the Dr DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
“The night before the match, Sachin (Tendulkar) sir called. He shared his experience and asked us to keep our balance. When the game is going fast, just slow it down a little,” Harmanpreet said on The ICC Review.
