Famous Indian broadcaster Harsha Bhogle believes English captain Eoin Morgan will be the key for Kolkata Knight Riders success in this years IPL which begins on the 29th of March.
Eoin Morgan who has featured in seven seasons of the cash rich Indian Premier League will once again play for his old franchise KKR.
Eoin Morgan last played in the IPL in 2017 and was unsold for the next two season. But after the English team won the Cricket World Cup for the barest of margins, Morgan’s name was hot in the auction market and many people were anticipating him to get a higher bid in the auctions.
Eoin Morgan was eventually brought for 5.25 Crores by Kolkata Knight Riders who also spent a record on Aussie pacer Pat Cummins as KKR acquired him for a whooping 15.5 Crores.
Harsha Bhogle who is a known face in the world of broadcasting tweeted about the English captain and said that Eoin Morgan will be the player to watch out for as the English Captain could help KKR win their third IPL.
I know he has never been quite the player in the IPL that he has been for England but I will be surprised if @Eoin16 doesn’t create an impact with @KKRiders this year

Morgan first played in the IPL in 2010 for Royal Challengers Bangalore and then went on to play for Kolkata Knight Riders and then he also was with Sunrisers Hyderabad and was also part of the team which won the IPL in 2016. He also played for Kings XI Punjab in 2017.
Morgan has scored scored 854 runs at a strike-rate of 121 in 52 matches, which includes only 4 half centuries with a highest of 66.
