Indian pace sensation Navdeep Saini who is having a dream run with the Indian team after making his debut for the Indian team in Lauderhill against West Indies, wants to cement his place in the team after being called up for the test series.

Navdeep Saini hailing from Karnal in Haryana, got his maiden call for India in 2018 for the historic test against Bangladesh after Mohammed Shami was ruled out because of poor fitness.

Navdeep Saini hasn't looked back since then and has had impressive debuts in the shorter formats of the game. Saini has impressed everybody with his change of pace and with his natural pace. Saini has taken 18 wickets for India in limited overs format and is looking forward to play in the test series against New Zealand.

“I am happy with whatever level I have been able to reach so far. It’s everyone’s dream to reach this level. It was my dream as well, which has now been fulfilled. I want to carry this further,” Saini told senior pacer Mohammed Shami in a video posted on BCCI.TV.

"When I was selected for the Indian team, it was like a dream come true for me. I started playing at a local level, and then I moved on to Ranji. From there, to become a part of Indian national team, it was a life-changing moment for me.”

The Indian team started the tour in grand fashion after clean sweeping New Zealand in T20I's , before getting clean sweeped in One Day Internationals

India would like to continue their form in test cricket and would also like to consolidate the top spot in the world test ranking.
