In the 14 matches, KL Rahul played innovative strokes to score 659 runs with an average of 54.91 and improved his strike rate of 158.41. He was the mainstay of Kings XI Punjab batting and being an opener had the best opportunity to make a mark.
He hit 6 half centuries and had the best score of 95* which could not help Kings XI Punjab qualify for the playoff stage. It was an amazing tournament for KL Rahul who finished the tournament as 3rd leading runs scorer in IPL 2018.
