Jaydev Unadkat was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 8.40 Crore in this year’s IPL. He could not perform according to price money as he took 10 wickets from 11 matches at an expensive economy rate of 10.66 runs per over. In this years IPL his best figures were 2/26 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was named as the man of the match for the same.

He went for runs in the middle overs and could not control run flow. Even in the last IPL, the left arm pace bowler could not perform according to expectations taking 11 wickets from 15 matches with an economy rate of 9.65 runs per over.

Jaydev played a key role in helping Saurashtra reaching the finals of 2018/19 Ranji Trophy season. He took 39 wickets from 8 matches (14 innings) with best figures of 7/86. It looks unlikely that he would be bought by any franchise in next years IPL.
